Audiences
looking for a high-energy introduction to concert dance can enjoy a range
of professional dance offerings from Danceworks resident modern company,
the Danceworks Performance Company and the Danceworks Urban Rhythm
Project, featuring Danceworks FUEL (hip hop) and Danceworks on Tap (tap).
Both groups are available for a range of performances suitable for all
ages. All performances are followed by a talkback with artists and may be
paired with hands-on workshops.
The Danceworks residency program offers a commitment to
interdisciplinary learning that introduces participants to a range of
artists and artistic expression while encouraging creative thinking and
problem solving across subject boundaries.
Ask about our community-inspired, multi-generational performance
residency THE WIDE SKY DANCE PROJECT, which makes visible the ideas and
experiences of community in an original dance piece performed by the
Danceworks Performance Company and participants from your school or
community.
