Sue Hulsether

Sue
Hulsether leads dances from American folk traditions, guided by a passion
for creating positive human connections. She is equally at home calling
dances in community centers, schools or barns: leading groups in squares,
contras, traditional reels, circles and singing games. Under the spell of
her energetic flair, clear instruction and engaging humor, groups easily
find themselves on their feet and eager to join in. Sue comfortably leads
groups of all sorts, sizes, ages and abilities, weaving strands of
tradition and history into her instruction. Sue is also a captivating
flatfoot dancer in the Appalachian clogging tradition. Available for
community events, school residencies, family dances, teacher workshops,
and clogging classes.
