Rolliana Scheckler
This Great Lakes Harpers’ Professional Division First
Place Champion entertains audiences of all ages with harp and harpsong
from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, medieval tunes, renaissance dances and new
music composed for her unique instrument. She often uses her own
arrangements, original compositions, authentic ornamentation and
improvisation.
She has been guest artist at IrishFest, CelticFest, a Conference of the
International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen, Inc., several Great
Lakes Harpers’ concerts, Olbrich Gardens’ Winter Series and more. She has
played for numerous corporate banquets/receptions, all sorts of gala
events, church services and labyrinth walks. On tour, she is happy to add
private lessons, master classes, clinics, seminars and nursing home music
visits. When not touring, Rolliana regularly performs “healing music” at
patient bedside in hospital and hospice. Her solo CDs, “HarpSinger” and
“Dawning of the Day” have received enthusiastic reviews.
