Zinck-Abend-Flint Trio
Violinist Bernard Zinck, a graduate of the Paris
Conservatory and the Juilliard School and winner of the Yehudi Menuhin
Trust Award; pianist Elena Abend, also a graduate of Juilliard and a noted
soloist and chamber musician here and in her native Venezuela; and hornist
Gregory Flint, a founding member of the Asbury Brass Quintet and hornist
with the Chicago Brass Quintet, explore classical repertoire for their
unique combination of instruments. Past programs have included works by
Ligeti, Brahms and contemporary composers. Each member of the trio offers
master classes; the trio will also coach chamber music ensembles.
