David HB Drake
Midwestern
troubadour David HB Drake presents songs for all seasons. His concerts
present traditional, contemporary and original compositions. David plays
guitar, concertina, and handmade dulcimer, banjo, and Native American
flute. David has toured schools, libraries, and community venues for over
25 years with his “Wiscon-sing” multimedia history and environmental
programs and residencies. David serves as ship musician for the Wisconsin
Lake Schooner and sings songs of the Lakes and sea. David was the 2002
WAMI Folk/Acoustic Artist of the Year and received the 2003 “Lantern
Bearer Award” from the Folk Music Alliance for his life achievement in
folk music performance.
