Tom Draughon
Tom
Draughon is the real thing. Born in North Carolina, and raised in the
mountains of Virginia and West Virginia, there is no better performer of
traditional Appalachian music. A consummate instrumentalist, Tom renders
authentic fiddle tunes, banjo songs, and flat picked guitar styles
combined with clear vocals to bring the mountains to you. His experience
in folk music of the British Isles and fingerstyle guitar techniques adds
a unique facet to his performances. He has performed and recorded with
such artists as Tom Paxton, Patrick Sky, Bruce Greene, Bruce Bowers,
Sheila Adams, and Don Pedi. Don’t miss him!
