An Old Sweet Song

In authentic period costume, An Old Sweet Song (the duo of Juliana Schmidt and Timothy Lutz), captivates audiences with popular music from America’s past. Music theater presentations are: The Gilded Age (Victorian Era), A Visit to Vaudeville (1900-1919), The Flapper (1920s), Buddy, Can You Spare a Dime? (1930s), and I’ll Be Seeing You: Voices of World War II. An Old Sweet Song has brought a little slice of Americana to venues in Arkansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Michigan since 1989. Programs can include songs from a single era, or from two eras in chronological order. Presenters have the option of music theater presentation or recital format. Available for presenter season bookings, select events (exhibit openings, community festivals, fundraisers, etc.), or workshops.
