TAPIT/new works
TAPIT/new
works, an ensemble theater company, was established in 1985 to create,
produce and tour original theater for general audiences, theater for young
audiences, arts residencies and workshops. Current repertoire for general
audiences includes: “Garden Party, A Comedy for Gardeners both Casual and
Crazed;” “The Girls from Building B” a play about life in Miami Beach;
“Source Code: Candide” a contemporary version of Voltaire’s classic novel.
“The Mystery of the Missing Word,” for young audiences, is all about the
joy of reading. The Company has performed throughout Wisconsin, the US and
abroad. We have a particular interest in residencies with youth from
low-income backgrounds.
