Carolyne Haycraft
Carolyne Haycraft has worked in
theatre for over 20 years. She has an MFA in directing from UW-Madison and
was the Director of University Theatre at UW-Rock County where she was
nominated for a Teaching Excellence Award in 2004. Carolyne has worked
nationally and internationally as an actor, director and teacher, and has
studied with nationally acclaimed directors such as Anne Bogart and Ping
Chong, as well as Jean Guy Lecat, Peter Brook’s designer. Locally she has
worked for organizations such as MADCAP, TAPIT/new works, and UW-Madison,
Education and Outreach. Carolyne is currently the Education Coordinator
for CTM, Madison Family Theatre.
Workshops include: playing Shakespeare (elem.-middle school); adapting
texts to the stage, essays, poems, stories, etc. (all ages); social
justice—bullying, diversity, the environment, etc. (all ages); acting
styles (10-14 yrs); and improvisation (all ages).
Dates Available: Year Round
Workshops $75/hr., $200/day, $1,000/week
