Public Theatre artists come from all cultures and disciplines and work with all
ages, teaching theatre, dance (hip-hop, tap, African, Latin, Stepping, Capoeira),
music (world percussion, DJ), circus, visual arts, entrepreneurship, Maridadi
Rites of Passage (for teen girls). MPT’s touring shows focus on cultural and
social themes, including Applied Theatre (interactive, dealing with drug,
alcohol, tobacco, pressures for sex, dropping out of school), AJULA Youth
Performance Troupe (music, dance & stories from the African diaspora),
bi-lingual Latin American Folktales, TALES FROM THE NILE, the InterActors,
elders performing for the young at heart, parades and special events/roaming
entertainers.

Workshops $35-$75/hour
Residencies $300-$500/day
Performances $250-$1,500
