Linda Flanders
Specializing
in the media arts, Linda Flanders focuses on “making movies” with students
and townspeople as the cast, addressing social issues: Bullying and
Harassment, Understanding Sexual Assault, The Dangers of Methamphetamine,
etc. This work is based upon The Movie Making Process: a time and
cost effective way to combine the teaching of developmental skills with
digital technology; teaching all levels of learners at the same time.
Dates Available: March-November
Performance: The Northern Lights; Shining the Lights of the Meth-edemic.
Approximately 1˝ hour film and staged dramatic presentation ($400/tax
deductible)
Workshop: Teaching “The Movie Making Process” for classrooms and
communities ($500/full day, unlimited participants)
Residency: Full production of individualized school or community movie:
Fee based on hours contracted, call for details. Grant assistance
available.
